I am a 54 year old Irishman living in Germany. I love hiking and here are some of favorite hikes I have done. Every year I like to undertake a multi day hike. 2020 was the Kungsleden and I also set myself a goal of walking 1000 miles on trails which I completed. I walked the GR5 from Lake Geneva to Menton 700km in August of 2021. In 2022 and 2023 I attempted the Nordkalottleden but have still to finish it, covid in 2022 and an achilles injury in 2023 stopping me.
