This has been an ongoing project it started in 2022 in Kvikkjokk and ended prematurely in Abisko due to catching Covid. I attempted again in 2023 and this time got to Kilpisjärvi but I was stopped due to an achilles injury. I will complete either in 2024 or 2025.

In 2022, I started in Kvikkjokk early in the season and was in the first group of people who attempted the thru hike. I was advised to take the Padjelantaleden due to snow. But as per many times over the last years this was poor advice and the trail was snow free to Ritsem
